60 cars, 113 miles, £11,000 raised and Herefordshire’s incredible foodie highlights enjoyed on August Bank Holiday Sunday during the High Sheriff’s Foodie Tour of Herefordshire; a fundraiser that brought a love of cars, food and glorious Herefordshire together.
This year’s High Sheriff, Tricia Thomas, carefully staged one of the county’s first main socially distanced events, which included a diverse range of 60 cars all special to their owners, from vintage to classic models and brand spanking new supercars, on a 100 mile scenic tour of Herefordshire, meticulously planned with foodie stops.
Starting with a Hereford City breakfast at The Green Dragon Hotel, morning coffee was then taken at Michelin Star Pensons Restaurant Stoke Bliss where people could also take in the wonderful three week Out of Nature art exhibition showing in the courtyard, buildings and fascinating kitchen gardens, which opened the same weekend in aid of The Cart Shed charity. Please note that anyone wishing to visit the exibition to see the incredible work of unique and talented artists, should do so by prebooking tickets via the website.
