Caplor Glamping Pods are luxury insulated pods in the Herefordshire countryside – with their own cooking facilities, ensuite toilet and full-sized shower… what a base to come back to after a long day spent tramping the local paths.

Of which there are many… Caplor Farm’s Herefordshire border setting in Fownhope has it firmly in a walkers’ paradise, with direct access to miles of trails including the popular Wye Valley Walk, the 136 miles of scenic countryside from Chepstow in Monmouthshire to Plynlimon in Powys.

Fishing, canoeing, horse riding and plenty of other outdoor activities are all around here too, or you could treat yourself to properly easy time with gentle Herefordshire strolls or a look around the north of the county’s black and white house’s; the likes of Eastnor and Goodrich castles within nine miles, or the Hereford Cider Route, picking up samples along the way.

Each luxury pod is fully insulated and handsomely furnished, and has an ensuite toilet, a full-sized shower, cooking facilities, dining table and chairs, and bed linen and towels provided. Electricity is included in the price. Dogs are warmly welcomed.

Caplor is a small site with only 2 pods for holiday accommodation – making it the ideal place for a romantic getaway for two in the country side.
