The Bromyard Round the Downs road race is an historic event of just over 4 ½ miles. The race returns this year with a brand new organising team of Meg and Nell. The first recorded race took place in 1923 but was probably running long before then. Sadly last year’s race was cancelled due to Covid-19 restrictions but hopefully this years event will be able to go ahead and will be a fun local event for runners from near and far to enjoy! Note from organizers ** We are closely monitoring the current Covid-19 situation, and will adjust our race planning as necessary to try to ensure that the race goes ahead with whatever measures are possible to keep runners, volunteers, spectators and the general public safe on race day. We know how popular so many of the details of this race are – from the Mayor and the Town Crier, to the amazing local cafes and the enthusiastic spectators – and we really hope we will be able to keep as much of this as possible while making the race safe for everyone involved. We will release up to date information regarding any necessary requirements or changes closer to the […]

Once the Festival is over you can choose to keep your tree or allow it to be sold to raise further funds for the causes detailed below.
