This is an exciting opportunity to start a food hall from the ground up at the Hop Pocket Shopping Village, Bishops Frome.
Your responsibilities would include leading the food hall, sourcing and ordering stock, forming relationships with suppliers, supervision of staff, being aware of profit, sales, loss and wastage, delivering high levels of customer service, cleanliness and hygiene. You could also have a say in the products we stock along with the arrangement and style of the space overall.
You should have experience in a food lead job, either as a main cook or manager of a farm shop, food hall or restaurant/café environment. It may suit someone who is looking to step up from supervisor level to management.
Once the food hall is up and running you would be expected to work 4 to 5 days a week, including at least one day of the weekend. You will be expected to work some Bank Holidays. From the end of October, we open 7 days a week, until Christmas Eve, you would be expected to do more in this period.
Please send expressions of interest and a CV to firstname.lastname@example.org or drop them in at The Hop Pocket, Bishops Frome, WR6 5BT
