Herefordshire Towns and City host weekly street markets all year round, offering local products to suit everyone’s lifestyle and budget. Farmers markets, retail stalls, produce from local artisan food and drink producers, arts and crafts fayres, antique and collectable fairs, plant markets, Christmas markets and the list goes on. Hereford City

General market stalls in Hereford High town on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, selling local produce and crafts.

Special markets are held on a Thursday and the first Saturday in each month. Follow their Twitter page for updates.

Hay on Wye

Trading for over 700 years, Hay Market Day is a vibrant local market held in the centre of Hay-on-Wye every Thursday.

With forty independent traders bringing the best in local and seasonal produce, fresh fish, meat and game, artisan bread and cakes, local arts and crafts, homewares and gifts, antiques and vintage, plants and more!

Held every Thursday year-round, 9am-2.30pm, in Memorial Square, Cheese Market, Buttermarket and around the Clock Tower

Kington

Every Friday from 9am – 1pm, showcasing locally produced foods, crafts, and other local initiatives.

Usually on the 3rd Saturday of the month from April to December, specialising in high quality Arts, Crafts and Eclectic items.

Arts and Crafts Christmas Markets on December 11 and 18 from 9.30am to 3pm.

Monmouth Bridge Market – open Friday and Saturday (Monnow Street, Monmouth, NP25 3EQ)

Monmouth Shire Hall Market – open Friday and Saturday (Agincourt Square, Monmouth, NP25 3DY)

Leominster

Leominster Market takes place every Friday in Corn Square.

A wide range of stalls are available each week, including fruit and veg, fresh fish, flowers and plants, bread, cheese, meat and pies, clothing, pet supplies and home wears.

Ludlow

A traditional open-air market, takes place in the town square (Castle Street) every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday throughout the year.

More than forty stalls selling a range of goods including fresh produce, cheeses, books and a selection of local crafts.

In addition to the regular market, most Sundays see the market stalls being used either as a flea market (usually fortnightly), or for various specialist themes, such as books, gardens or crafts.

Ledbury

Friday market from 10 to 12 noon in the Burgage Hall.

Ross On Wye

Ross-on-Wye Town Council run the twice weekly markets which are held every Thursday and Saturday from 9.00am to 3.00pm. On Thursday’s shoppers will find a mix of stalls including flowers & plants, fruit & veg, fish and clothing while on Saturdays, the market specialises in local crafts and foods, with a variety of goods for sale.
