Pensons Restaurant are on the lookout for a chef de partie to join the team.
Must be a passionate and hard working individual, who will enjoy being part of a small team, helping to build this exciting new restaurant’s reputation.
The Chef de Partie will run their own section and get to learn from the highly experienced Head Chef, Lee Westcott.
The restaurant is committed to using seasonal, local ingredients. An increasing amount of produce used is from the restaurants garden. So an interest in this would be a great advantage.
Key responsibilities include:
Preparing, cooking and maintain a section
Managing and training any demi-chef de parties or commis working with you
Helping the head chef and sous chef to develop new dishes and menus
Ensuring you and your team have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety
Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins
Up to £24,000pa depending on experience
