There really is no better way to spend the day!

The River Café is a licensed cafe-bar-restaurant located across the boatyard with the Wye Valley Canoe Centre next door. It is a relaxed and informal space with tables on the decking overlooking the River Wye.

Open from 8.30am, people gather for a coffee, pastry or a bacon sandwich before going out on the river. Ideally situated for those doing the Wye Valley Walk or the Sustran cycle network (route 8 and 42) for those on two wheels.

Not just a hot chocolate and a muffin sort of a place, AA Gill the infamous food critic awarded 4 stars during the Hay Literature Festival.
