A Part time Relief Verger is required at Hereford Cathedral. As members of the small vestry team, vergers are an integral part of the cathedral’s ministry to pilgrims and visitors. They are the first point of contact for many worshippers, visiting choirs, and guests of the Chapter, while their ceremonial, administrative and practical work provides essential support for daily worship and other aspects of the cathedral’s mission.
