Sommelier at Pensons Restaurant

This is an exciting and rare opportunity to join the Michelin-starred team at Pensons Restaurant and to work alongside Head Chef Chris Simpson and the Restaurant Manager to curate a beverage offering that equals the outstanding food.

We are looking for someone;
– with exceptional wine knowledge
– with an enthusiastic and can-do attitude.
– who is passionate about British food and understands the importance of impeccable customer service.
– who is passionate about wine and love sharing that knowledge with our guests.
– with excellent attention to detail, ensuring the highest standards are maintained across all areas.
– who is commercially minded and computer literate.

While not essential, wine qualifications such as WSET and experience in Michelin restaurants are desirable.

Who we are…
We are not your average restaurant, we are currently the only Michelin star Restaurant in Herefordshire, Worcestershire and Shropshire. Our business has grown from a love of the land that runs deep in this corner of rural England, something that inspires the team here and keeps our visitors coming back.
