Lowe Farm Bed & Breakfast comes up Roses In Visit England Awards
Eat Sleep Live Herefordshire is delighted to announce that one of its most long-standing members, Lowe Farm Bed & Breakfast, has won a prestigious national award for excellence from Visit England.
With every region represented, the 2016 ROSE awards were presented to just 100 tourism providers across England as Visit England’s industry honour in Recognition Of Service Excellence, designed to showcase those establishments that provide the warmest of welcomes. The 100 recipients include places where the owners, managers and staff really know how to delight their customers, irrespective of their star rating, style or type of accommodation.
Nominations were triggered following the annual Visit England quality assessment visits and observations by the assessors, but other evidence, including online customer reviews are taken into account. The final judging panel also looked for innovation that sets the business apart. This includes facilities or services offered to make the customer’s stay really special.
Of the 23,000 accredited Visit England businesses, only three establishments in the West Midlands region received awards, and Lowe Farm Bed & Breakfast was the only one in Herefordshire.
Juliet Williams, proprietor of the 4 Star Gold Pembridge based accommodation business said, “We are absolutely thrilled to be recognised nationally in this way. We work hard to ensure that we make continuous improvements every year to not only our decoration and hygiene, but our facilities and enhanced service to our guests, and to have that acknowledged makes it all so worthwhile.
“We’d also like to thank Eat Sleep Live Herefordshire for their continued support of tourism in Herefordshire” she continued. “Without their help promoting us all as members and Herefordshire as a tourism destination, we would barely be on the visitor map at all”.
Sounds like a win/win for the whole area we think.
