Just 4 weWye Valley River Festival Entertainment-Jim Ozanneeks today we will see the launch of The Wye Valley River Festival 2016 sponsored by ESL. A mixture of Watery Extravaganzas, Music, Fire & Flame, Choirs, Shows, Art Installations and much more along the 60 mile stretch of the River Wye from Hereford to Chepstow.

In this its second year it promises to be a magical display of spectacular heights over the two week period. The Wye Valley River Festival will be launched on the evening of  Friday 29 April in Hereford with an evening of music and excitement on the banks of the River Wye, followed on Saturday 30 April by Hereford River Carnival which is gearing up to it best yet! A day of celebrating the beauty and vitality of the River Wye in the City of Hereford.  More information on Hereford River Carnival here. 

This year the theme of the Wye Valley River Festival is Global Arteries, inspired by landscape and led by art professionals with local people who live in and around the Wye Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).  The focus of the festival is a travelling Wye Serai created around three caravans:
