Hereford Indie Festival – The Fallow (2025)
After years of high-energy celebrations, Hereford Indie Food (HIF) is taking a reflective turn with “The Fallow”—a summer event that gives the concrete car park a well-deserved break while reconnecting with the festival’s roots. Rather than scaling back, the organizers are remixing the original spirit of HIF: celebrating local music, food, and makers in a relaxed, inclusive atmosphere at The Yard.
Morning (9am–12pm) is tailored for families, featuring:
- Live singalongs
- Superhero-themed activities
- Face painting and crafts
- Interactive music sessions
Ticket Prices (Morning):
- Kids: £3 (includes all activities)
- Adults: £1 (entry only)
Afternoon (12pm–5pm) offers a laid-back vibe with live acoustic music and open access to the site.
- Kids: Free
- Adults: £1
Evening (from 5pm) brings more energy with live music until 11pm, street food from local vendors like Yard Fried Chicken, Burger Shop, and Maneki Ramen, plus a Makers Market showcasing Hereford’s indie creators.
Evening Tickets (£10) grant all-day access from 12pm onward, perfect for those staying late.
Why “The Fallow”?
It’s a conscious pause—a chance to let the space breathe while spotlighting what makes Hereford special. It’s not a scaled-down version, but a local remix: bold, vibrant, and unmistakably indie.
