Bee Gees & Abba In Concert Experience

Brand-new show celebrating the hits of two iconic bands; Bee Gees and Abba, is coming to The Courtyard this season.

Bee Gees & Abba in Concert Experience is a double headline show featuring popular hits such as: Night Fever, Stayin’ Alive, Tragedy, Dancing Queen, Mamma Mia, Waterloo and many more.

The two-hour production features world-class tribute vocalists and musicians who will transport audiences back to the magical era of disco-pop.

Formed in 1958 by brothers Barry, Robin, and Maurice Gibb, The Bee Gees were a hugely successful pop/disco band whose hits spanned several decades. Tight three-part harmonies and Robin’s clear vibrato lead vocals were a hallmark of their earlier hits, while Barry’s R&B falsetto became their signature sound during the 70s and 80s.

ABBA were a Swedish pop group, established in 1972 by Agnetha Fältskog, Björn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson, and Anni-Frid Lyngstad. The band became Sweden’s first winner of the Eurovision Song Contest in 1974 with their song Waterloo and continued to release many more hits including Mamma Mia, Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!, The Winner Takes It All and Super Trouper. ABBA remain one of the biggest selling acts in pop music history.

Bee Gees & Abba In Concert will be in The Courtyard’s Main House on Thursday 19 June at 7.30pm. To book tickets, or for more information contact the Box Office on 01432 340555 or visit courtyard.org.uk
