Boating on the lake – The best way to see the 14 acre designed lake, also a Site of Special Scientific Interest is by boat.

Hire a boat for a 1/2 hour trip around parts of the lake and see the Genius Loci installations, close up by Red earth. Boats, £5 per person for 1/2 hour boat hire. Normal admission fees apply.

The perfect of accompaniment to your bat is a picnic in the Pineapple pavilion in the walled garden, designed and created by internationally renowned artists Heather and Ivan Morison.

Booking essential for boat rides.
