Festival at the Edge

Festival at the Edge is the oldest storytelling festival in England and has something for everyone.

A weekend of fantastic storytelling, tall tales, terrific tellers, music and more… on the edge of the small town of Bromyard within the Herefordshire countryside.

A packed programme of events tailored for all age groups, over a weekend that is unique in the festival calendar.

It’s not just stories though. There’s a Hobson’s Brewery Bar, craft stalls, fantastic food, and camping. Its a great way to spend a summer weekend…

From Friday to Sunday, there is always a choice of something on offer – the best international storytellers in performance, music, comedy and related arts.

There are practical workshops, story rounds and informal music sessions for you to join in.

As a family-friendly event we provide a children’s festival that runs throughout the festival weekend, mixing specially booked children’s performers with performers from the main festival.
