John’s Boys
Johns’ Boys Welsh Male Choir, the choir that has captured the hearts of millions since their appearance on Britain’s Got Talent, is coming to The Courtyard Hereford in June.
As the only British male choir to have claimed the prestigious ‘Choir of the World’ title at the Llangollen International Music Festival, Johns’ Boys stands as a beacon of excellence in the realm of choral music.
With a modern twist on the traditional Welsh male voice choir, Johns’ Boys delivers new performances that captivate audiences worldwide. Their repertoire ranges from arrangements of contemporary artists like Calum Scott and Lewis Capaldi to interpretations of beloved Welsh hymns.
The choir from Rhos, Wrexham, featured on 2023’s Britain’s Got Talent, proudly making it all the way to the live semi-final shows where they just missed out on a place in the final.
Aled Phillips, choir conductor, said about the tour: “It’s a fantastic opportunity for us to sing in some amazing venues to a totally new audience. It’s certainly going to be a busy year for all the lads.”
Johns’ Boys will be in The Courtyard’s Main House on Saturday 29 June. To book tickets, or for more information contact the Box Office on 01432 340555 or visit www.courtyard.org.uk.
