Ledbury Carnival

Ledbury Carnival

This years carnival will be slightly different due to the Covid pandemic. There will be further details about the event when they are released but there will be no usual carnival procession, but will have entertainment and stall in St Katherine’s Car Park. Also includes a kids disco.

“The Carnival Committee has met recently to consider plans for this year. Although the Government’s gradual relaxation of restrictions is a very welcome development there are still uncertainties ruling out the usual large-scale event. In addition, the Carnival Committee membership is currently very small, further limiting what we are able to undertake.
The Committee, are however, planning to hold a smaller family carnival event, on the afternoon of August Bank Holiday Monday, in St Katherine’s Car Park, subject to restrictions.

The 2020 Virtual Carnival is still available on Youtube. Thank you for the nearly 600 views. Ledbury Virtual Carnival 2020 – YouTube

Ledbury Carnival takes place every year on the August bank holiday Monday. Organised by Ledbury Carnival Association and held in the Town Centre, It provides a fun day for the people of Ledbury and is an opportunity for local clubs and charities to raise funds.
