Art Workshops with ECHO
Free craft workshops every Thursday between 6 June and 18 July at Leominster Priory, parts of the Threads through Creation events programme.
Taking inspiration from the Threads through Creation textile installation at Leominster Priory, Explore a different craft every week with ECHO.
Providing opportunities for people to get together for a relaxed and sociable session.
Refreshments available.
10.30am – 12.30pm.
No booking necessary. Free but donations welcome.

- 6 June – In the beginning – Learn how to weave on a circular loom with weavers from ECHO
- 13 June – Let there be light! – Make your own shadow puppets and props, and use light to see your creations come to life. Film your stop motion play
- 20 June – Water of Life – Explore oil painting on water to make a bookmark or a sensory bottle filled with snowflakes
- 27 June – Earths Garden – Plant seeds, make your own bug hotel, make patterns in our Zen Garden
- 4 July – Reflections in Nature – Celebrate and explore reflections in nature – try symmetry painting, colour in mandalas, forage and make nature collages
- 11 July – Animal Patterns – Make your own ink stamper with animal patterns. Travel over the floor art to show the motion and prints of humans as living creatures
- 18 July – Angels – Use the art and craft materials available to make your own angel – paint, stitch and create, with plenty of scope for your own ideas.

ECHO is an independent, Herefordshire-based charity with 230 members and over 150 volunteers. Their main office is in Leominster but projects are run in many different community based venues. ECHO celebrated celebrated 30 years of making a difference to the lives of disabled people in the county.
