Reforesting the Soul Walk

Local writer Canon Dr Andrew Mayes leads a reflective walk in the churchyard and environs, with meditations beneath significant trees.

9.30am –  (in church) Introduction: deforestation and replanting, physical and spiritual

10am – Planting an oak: celebrating the journey (walk to Verdun Oak first)

11am – Planting an apple tree: re-entering Eden  (gather in millennium orchard)

12 midday –  Planting a yew tree: regenerating (meet Church south door path)

12.30pm –  Close
