Sue Maud Retrospective Exhibition

A major retrospective of well-known Herefordshire artist Sue Maud who is best known for her paintings and original prints that capture the seas and oceans.

The exhibition is held at Greenstage Gallery at The Hop Pocket Shopping Village.

Sue created dramatic seascapes using painting and printmaking, drawing on her sailing experiences to reflect the power and erosion created by the sea. The work recreates the feeling of ‘being’ and to allow the viewer to experience the elements, strength, terrifying beauty and awesome might of the sea, in conjunction with our own frailty while sailing the oceans. Her work emphasises the frightening speed at which our planet, including ourselves, is changing to element reaction.
