The Courtyard Senior Youth Theatre present: Down To The Woods

The Courtyard Senior Youth Theatre Present Down To The Woods, an immersive production for families this summer.

Audiences are invited to bring their favourite toy and come down to the woods for a very special Teddy Bears’ picnic.

This interactive family performance will see little ones transported to a magical woodland, where they will be joined by some of their favourite fairy-tale characters, who are in for a big surprise.

Down To The Woods is devised and performed by The Courtyard Senior Youth Theatre in collaboration with professional script writer and theatre director, Ant Stones.

Hailing from Hereford, Ant Stones is Associate Playwright for Guildford Shakespeare Company and a graduate of the Birkbeck MFA in Theatre Directing and The Royal Court’s Young Writer’s Programme. His theatre work as a script writer includes Tales From Hans Christian Andersen (Guildford Shakespeare Company), Cleopatra Boy (Cheltenham Everyman) and The Ghostly Number Seven (Firstborn Theatre) among others.

Down To The Woods is an immersive family show created especially for ages 2-7 but can be enjoyed by the whole family.
