The Mikado
Join the multiple award-winning Hereford Gilbert & Sullivan Society for this year’s production of The Mikado, a topsy-turvy musical satire of English society set in the fictional Japanese town of Titipu.
Featuring some of Gilbert & Sullivan’s best-known songs, including ‘Three Little Maids’ and ‘I’ve Got A Little List’, it is the story of some unlucky star-crossed lovers, an unfilled beheadings quota at the county jail, and one enormous conspiracy with hilarious consequences.
You will laugh out loud in the company of Nanki-Poo, Yum-Yum, Pooh-Bah and Ko-Ko, with all the signature razor-sharp dialogue and fabulously catchy melodies of Gilbert & Sullivan.
To find out what happens in the Town of Titipu, tickets are available at the Courtyard Box Office (01432 340555) or online https://www.courtyard.org.uk/events/the-mikado/
