Walk and Draw at Lea & Paget’s Wood

Herefordshire Wildlife Trust’s artist in residence, Richard Bavin, will give an introductory  Walk and Draw at Lea & Paget’s Wood. The drawing workshop in the Trust’s scenic Lea & Paget’s Wood nature reserve.   The event will begin with an introduction to Lea & Paget’s Wood by Reserve Officer Doug Lloyd and a demonstration of linear mark making techniques to record shapes and textures by Richard.  Participants will then walk around part of the reserve, stopping often for insights about the reserve’s wildlife and ecology from Doug and time to draw in response to what we are looking at together, with guidance from Richard.  No previous experience of drawing is necessary.
