B2W Outdoor Learning Conference

Calling all Practitioners who support outdoor learning and play across the  educational curriculum. This conference explores the importance of the outdoor experiential environment and provides an opportunity to meet practitioners from across the three counties.

The Children’s Forest

Discover how forest school practices and tree planting can restore nature-connected culture. Learn about their 4-step approach combining ecology, ancestral skills, creativity, and storytelling.

1. Music Pedagogy & Song Sharing
   With Pippa Wright – explore musical play and singing outdoors.
2. Green Woodworking
   With Maurice Clother – craft hazel flowers, whistles, and more using traditional tools.
3. Bird Connection
   With Tom Genders – deepen your awareness of birds through guided observation and storytelling.
4. Natural Fibres & Felting
   With Toni Pettitt – try easy dyeing techniques and wet felting using natural materials.
5. Children’s Forest Workshop
   Experience a planting project with nature connection, story, and craft.
