Willow Coppicing & Festive Arrangement at Hellens Manor

Come and join us for a day of seasonal fun as we coppice willow from our reed beds and use the withies to create beautiful festive arrangements. 

The day will be split into two different activities, firstly learning how to coppice willow and finding out about our reed bed system, then creating wreaths using the cut willow. We will collect natural materials from the gardens and grounds and use these as well as our own dried flowers to adorn and decorate. There will be the option of adding candles to create a table decoration and if you wish to add ribbon, baubles or sparkle then please bring these along.   This is an opportunity to work with us here at Hellens and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

We will provide lunch to warm you and all materials will be provided. Bring warm clothes, some secateurs, gloves and plenty of creativity.  The day will start at 10 am and finish at 3 pm.
