October 4, 2022 marks the celebration of National Vodka Day and ESL Member Gattertop Drinks, believes it is a great time to raise awareness of their award-winning infused Vodka.
The proud owners of the UK’s first orchard-inspired Vodka, Botanic Nº7 was the highest scoring Vodka in England at the 2021 IWSC awards. Naturally flavoured with organic ingredients sourced from the orchards, hedgerows and gardens at the historic farm of Gattertop, where the brand takes its namesake. Their botanical Vodka is designed to encapsulate the authentic taste of an English orchard. Using ingredients entirely sourced from Gattertop, Botanic Nº7 adopts the ethos of “what grows together, goes together” creating a truly consider and well-balanced Vodka.
However, Botanic Nº7 does not sit alone in Gattertop’s repertoire. The brand’s first orchard-inspired creation was Damson Nº12. Small batches of hand-picked organic damsons are steeped in premium British Vodka for a year, resulting in the deep and delicious flavour found in the liqueur. Damson Nº12 is a multi-award winner at the Great Taste Awards.
‘For us, it is all about the clean crisp vodka base which gives the botanicals and fruit the chance to develop in their own right, without competing with a leading flavour like juniper in gin. We are extremely proud of the orchard inspired Vodkas we have developed and the accolades they continue to receive.’

The single estate source of their award-winning drinks also allows Gattertop to maintain carbon-neutral status, making it one of the first UK-based drinks companies to claim this position. Working closely with local organisation, Herefordshire Wildlife Trust, Gattertop Drinks launched their “Know Your Roots” initiative with an aim to raise awareness and educate their local community on the subject of orchard conservation and fruit tree maintenance.
