The bookshop has over 50,000 new, second-hand and rare titles in stock with outstanding selections especially in the arts and history, and at its heart is a very popular café which serves refreshments, home-made cakes and light lunches.
There is also a Book burrow for children.
Almost all new books are half-price or less, other books are very reasonably priced, and the shop boasts a wonderful range of greetings cards.
There is ample parking for cars and coaches, and the café can serve up to 40 people – groups of more than 8 please contact us in advance.
