Granton Coach House is a beautiful stone built C18th coach house within the grounds of the owner’s property in the village of Goodrich that is situated between Monmouth and Ross-on-Wye.

Granton Coach House has been beautifully restored. The accommodation is set entirely over the first floor, accessed via external stone steps, with outstanding features such as the fabulous original wooden floor, a covered veranda, contemporary furnishings, and exposed beams. The spacious open plan living area has a high beamed ceiling, offering bright, airy accommodation, whilst the romantic super-king-size bedroom has the benefit of a luxurious en-suite shower room.

The woodland garden with patio has furniture & BBQ and guests are able to use the sunny garden to the side of the coach house. A peaceful, perfect place to relax after a day exploring the area.

Brecon Beacons, Forest of Dean and the Cotswolds are within easy reach.

An ideal place to stay for Malvern shows or Hay on Wye literary festival and Abergavenny food festivals.

There is LPG central heating throughout, as well as a wood-burner. Electric oven & hob, microwave, slow crock pot, fridge with ice box freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, in an extremely well-equipped kitchen. There is a TV with Freeview, DVD, stereo/CD, and good WiFi access.

Fuel, power, cleaning & starter pack for wood-burner inc. in rent. Fine Egyptian bed linen & fluffy white towels included.

Off road parking for 1 car and secure storage for bikes.

Plenty of walks from the door alongside the river Wye including to Yat Rock where peregrine falcons nest at Symonds Yat.

There are two pubs serving good food in Goodrich and a good café at Goodrich Castle as well as lots of other great places to dine out.
