The Hayloft at Barton Court

Barton Court, Colwall, is a period country house on the edge of a charming village, in its own  grounds, surrounded by spectacular countryside.

The Hayloft offers comfortable and rustic accommodation as befitting the office of the erstwhile estate manager. However, simple as this little apartment may be, it still has all the conveniences of modern life with the best views on the entire property.

They say history is written in the fabric of a building. It is very true in the case of The Hayloft where the names and wages of some of the workers on the estate were discovered written on the wall in pencil. These are exposed and preserved them for visitors to enjoy.

The stone steps up are steep and old and therefore NOT suitable for anyone with mobility issues who cannot manage steep stairs.

Barton Court is situated between the two very different vibrant towns of Malvern and Ledbury, it is private but not isolated.  The station one mile away has direct connections with London, Bristol and Birmingham and the motorway network is only 3 miles away, making it easy for people from all over the country to travel to.
