HEREFORD CATHEDRAL CHRISTMAS FAIR

Preparations for Hereford Cathedral’s annual Christmas Fair are well underway with over forty stallholders attending the event on Saturday 16 December.

Opening at 9.30am, the cathedral will be filled with stallholders selling a range of festive gifts including jewellery, artwork and homeware. There will also be a selection of food and drink on offer to browse including locally produced chocolates, wine and cordials. The Cathedral Gardeners will be returning with their incredibly popular plant stall and the Cathedral Café and Shop stall will be selling some special foodie gifts alongside their normal offering.

The Cathedral Café will be returning to the Cathedral Close for the day and serving mulled wine, spiced cider and festive treats with Origin Pizza also serving their selection of wood fired pizzas. At 12 noon, everyone is welcome to wrap up warm and join in the festive fun as carol singing, led by the Dean, will take place in the Cathedral Close.

“The Christmas Fair is a highlight for many of our visitors, and our community, during the festive period. It’s the perfect place to pick up last-minute gifts and it’s a real pleasure to welcome so many talented craftspeople and makers to exhibit with us each year. The Christmas Fair remains free to enter but, as always, donations to support the work of the cathedral are greatly appreciated.”
