They are two farming families growing fruit in Herefordshire. They use the fruit that is not perfect enough for the supermarket to create their award winning gins, non alcoholic spirit and honey spiced rum. They are passionate about using everything that their farm has to offer, from the cherry blossom, wibbly wobbly fruit, to the honey produced by their amazing bees.
After many discussions in the orchards Charlie and Dickie decided gin would be the perfect product to celebrate the wonderful landscape that they farm and Penrhos Spirits was born, with Connie the Spirit Still being put to good use in the converted cattle shed.
A few years later Penrhos now has an award winning range. London Dry, Rhubarb, Apple and Elderflower gin and Blueberry Liqueur. They recently launched their first non alcoholic botanical spirit, Penrhos Zero Raspberry, made with their own raspberries and their first Honey Spiced Rum made with honey from their apiaries surrounding their Herefordshire cherry orchards.
