For the last 13 years Somerville House has been the only AA 5 Star Guest Accommodation in Hereford City.

A detached late Victorian Villa, dating from 1895, in a tree-lined residential road, this guest house offers ’boutique style” bed and breakfast accommodation with original features which blends the luxury and comfort of a good hotel with warm, relaxed and friendly service.

There are 11 bedrooms all with stylish ensuites.   A choice of single, double, twin and Super king rooms are available.  Beautifully furnished, all the rooms have hair dryers, ironing facilities, tea and coffee making facilities, fridge/minibar, free Wi-Fi, SMART TV’s in all rooms, with free digital magazines available and the large superior/luxury rooms also have white fluffy bathrobes and slippers.  All rooms have desk facilities.

The contemporary furnished dining room offers an excellent breakfast range with ingredients, as far as possible being local and/or organically produced.  Breakfast includes the traditional English breakfast, smoked kippers or porridge served to your table, and a continental buffet with healthy options such as a good range of fruit, cereals, fruit juices and yogurts.  Any dietary requirements can be catered for.

Relax in the comfortable lounge with its open fire, or on the beautiful south facing garden terrace watching the sunset.  We are happy to accommodate children 10 years and over although we do not have any dog friendly accommodation.

Accessibility – Somerville House offers one ground floor room which can be a twin or a Superking. The en-suite has a walk in shower with a grab handle. There is a wheelchair ramp for the front door.  Contact the owners for further information.
