The Bookshop is a modern British restaurant serving a daily brunch, a British Bistro led evening menu and an award winning Sunday lunch.
From 8am daily, brunch, great coffee, and cakes are served in a relaxed setting that has been thoughtfully designed to accommodate both working and socialising.
The restaurant opens its doors in the evenings from Wednesday to Saturday (6pm-10pm) offering a menu continuing to celebrate organic vegetables and grass-fed steak, with the addition of a greater choice of seasonal fish, vegan and gluten-free dishes.
The menu showcases the teams’ creativity in fermenting, pickling and foraging, and use of a handmade charcoal-fired Fogarty oven.
On Sundays, the award-winning Sunday lunch (Observer Food Monthly Awards, Best Sunday Lunch 2017) is served between 12.30 – 6pm. Extended opening hours, relaxed drinking areas and a beautiful garden invites our customers to spend time enjoying drinks from a carefully created cocktail and drinks menu.
Alongside a passion for serving stunning food, the team are also highly conscious of the need to constantly improve and reduce everyone’s impact on the planet. All their energy is from renewable sources, waste oil is turned into biodiesel, suppliers are local, and they have eliminated single-use plastics.
